For many years Laithwaite Brut Premier Cru has been created exclusively for us by superb cellars in Avize, one of Champagne's finest Grand Cru villages. 90% of their vineyards are classified Grand Cru or Premier Cru and this particular cuvée - a blend of 100 different vats - is made from 80% Grand Cru grapes, the rest Premier Cru. What's more, it was long aged on its lees before the final disgorgement, then matured for 30 months in bottle before release - double the required minimum - ensuring a really luxurious character.
